My boyfriend was in a previous relationship with a woman who suffered from very severe, chronic yeast infections. Five months after they broke up, we started dating. It’s been 8 months now, but in the past three months I’ve had three yeast infections. Over-the-counter medications don’t keep them away, and I’ve tried every home-remedy I can find. Is it possible that my boyfriend is carrying a yeast infection he contracted from his previous girlfriend, and passing it to me?
