Whats the best yogurt to stop or prevent a yeast infection?
Im taking anti-biotics for my strep-throat… and i am sure i will get a yeast infection… I know Yogurt does the trick but there are different ones with different cultures… whats the best one to have that will kill the bacteria away. If anyone has that knowledge about the kinds of bacterias in yogurts.. that would be very helpfull! THanks!!
You want to make sure it’s plain unflavored yogurt. I like Greek yogurt best it’s thick, and if you read the ingredients on the label its cultured milk and that’s it. No sugar,fruit ect.. Dannon makes a kind of plain greek yogurt right now that is good to eat and for yeast infections too. Look for it at your local grocery store. But easier than that just call your doc that prescribed the antibiotic and ask for a script for Diflucan, just take a couple of those pills while on your antibiotic and no yeast infection to worry about.
