Potential reoccurring yeast infection?
My urethra/clitoris and the are around there have become very very sore and painful, and everything down there is itchy. It seems like a yeast infection to me, but this would be the third one this year. I’m worried, and don’t want to tell my mom again. If it helps, I am 15, and am not a virgin. My mom does not know that I’m not a virgin, and I’d like to keep it that way. The last time I had sex was about a week and a half ago. Any advice?
It is not good to have so many yeast infections, if you do it may be a symptom of something else which may be worse.
You likely will want to get tested at your local clinic at your doctor to make sure you do not have any other problems such at STI’s. You don’t have to disclose any information to your mother though regarding your sexual activity, just talk to your doctor, although I would recommend talking to your mother.
I used to get yeast infections if I did not pee after sex especially, and I am prone to them if I have bubble baths. Some vaginas are more sensitive.
